Working!!!
Good news!!! Good news!!!! I finally got a job d! Yeah~~~ I’m now working in a Japanese food court called “Edo Teppan” in Garden City. Garden City!!! Man… that is quite far from my house le… k, lets share about what I do in my work place. (Seriously I got training last Friday and today is my 1st working day).
My work start as 9 o’clock early in the morning but I reach there at 9.10. is not my fault lor… I already told my boss that I will be late coz the bus that I take reach at 9.02. I finish work at 4 but I work till 4.10. Those 10 minutes is to cover the time that I late to work. Today, when I reach there, my boss passes me a shirt and a cap. The shirt is very nice. Not because of the pattern but because of the colour. Is green colour u know. Super chiang lo… haha… k k, tell u guys what I have done in my work place.
The job that I need to do is fried the spring roll first, then fried the curry puff, after that I need to fried the tempura and lastly I need to fried the squid rolls. After I fried all those stuff, I need to fry the chicken for those people who make the sushi. Am I a chief for frying department??? Hahaha… I wish I’m. hehe… this is my 1st job in Perth, where got so fast can be a chief le… after that I need to wash all the dishes that they already use. They just dump those things that need to wash in the basin. Just like a small mountain. I always use around 1 hour to finish wash it. After I finish wash those dishes, chicken just nice deliver to the shop. When all of them are busying serving people at lunch time, I need to cut the chicken. Cut away the FAT! All together got 8 bags of chicken and each back got around 40 pieces of chicken (I really go to count it =D ). Today I managed to cut 4 ½ bags. The other 3 ½ bags is another worker, Han help me. Most of the things I learn over there is Han teach me de. He is a very nice guy. After cut the chicken, he teaches me how to make the Katsu chicken. Now then I know that they got use crumbs (bread) to do it. After I finish do it, I continue wash those dishes that they left in the basin. I work until I forgot bout the time until the boss ask me go to have some lunch first. I look at the clock at that time and guess what? Is 3 p.m.!!! I have my lunch at 3!!! Look like I very concentrate on my works ya. Haha… (self –praise).
Lunch time is the period I like the most. Y??? because hor… as a ONE of the workers over there, we can make our own lunch. We can cook anything that we want to eat. For example: customer order Japanese curry rice. Basically is just curry and rice, maybe have some meat. OR customer order chicken katsu (chicken katsu = rice+chicken+same vege). But as a worker, we can do whatever things that we wan to eat. Last Friday, I ate Katsu chicken + curry rice. Inside got rice (extra), curry (quite a lot), chicken (2 pieces) and some vege (more than customer). Oh ya, I also have a bowl of miso sup and bottle of drink. Not bad hey… can eat such a wonderful meal. Today I have ramen. Inside got extra noodles, extra meat, a big pieces chicken, and a lot of stuff which customer just have a bit only. Wahaha…. Super duper chiang lor…. But then hor… I work till like mad man.
After lunch I continue to wash the dishes AGAIN and we start clean up. I need to mop floor as well. Aih~~~ so this is my day. Oh ya, according to another new worker, the pay is just 9 dollar per hour. Quite low ya. Hope he will pay me more than that. :)
